I started a new job earlier this year. We are all working remotely now, and I will continue to do so since I live 1,000 miles from the office. That’s a little bit too long to commute. As I’ve met people, I realize with video calls we are providing co-workers a peek into our world – more so than in an office. When I worked in offices, I would bring in a family photo or two, and the greatest peek into our post-work lives was what we chose to share about weekends with each other.
Well here I sit. I'm certainly not wandering anymore.
It's been a while! This happened last year too! We get wrapped up in the activity of the holidays and then the start of a new year full of promise, resolutions, diets, and the next thing we know it's February!

I have a little brother. Well, he isn't my little brother anymore, he is my younger brother now since he is taller than me.
For as long as I can remember I remember thinking one of two things:
He HAD to be adopted
He HAD to be an alien
We recently saw the travelling Broadway production of The Lion King in our hometown.
Before the show I had read that this production had been adjusted for smaller theaters like ours but did not take away from the original large-theater, Broadway production.
Well, some kick-starts get delayed. I thought I was back on track, but I've been on the phone since my last post.
Of course, I haven't been on the phone all the time, it just feels like I have!
While I was wandering got derailed for a while, but now I'm back -- and so are the blog posts!
We have lived in Florida for seven and half years. We've been in our house for six years. This is an achievement or me. This is the second longest I've lived anywhere, and just about the longest I have ever lived in one house.
